One Day
Leads the student into the following standards;
a. 568-B.1, B.2 B.3
b. 569A
c. 606A
d. 607
e. ART. 800, NEC
Heavy emphasis on horizontal and backbone cabling and pathways.
Topics include, but are not confined to:
Pathway fill, color codes, support structures, pulling techniques,
code vs standards, bonding and grounding and administration.
Two Day
Includes all of the above plus:
526-7, 526-14A, 570, 569A1,2,3 &4, 598A
A more in-depth discussion of bonding and grounding from 607& ART. 800.
Detailed explanation of the proper testing techniques for copper and fiber in the horizontal and backbone. (A copy of the standards for each student is required for the two day class)
Both classes receive a paper copy of the standards including the following:

The cost for the one day class is $750 w/standards, $500 wo/standards*
The cost for the two day is $1000 w/standards, $750 wo/standards*
A copy of the standards will be necessary as a workbook for the student to gain a working benefit from the class.
