CODES & STANDARDS UPDATE - (1 day) This one day class session covers the latest ANSI/TIA/EIA Telecommunications wiring Standards as well as Codes relevant to cable installers. It is designed to focus on premise cabling, including installation practices, product selection, labeling & administration plus Grounding & Bonding. It includes a review of the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code (NEC) and the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). In addition, an introduction to International Codes & Standards is provided. Course Materials: Students will be provided with a course workbook, notepads, and highlighters. Copies of the latest Codes & Standards will be available for review during the class.
