The executive team at ComNet has long been one of our greatest strengths. They are by far the most talented group in the industry, and have led ComNet through a period of extraordinary growth and success. However, organizations aren’t static things. They grow and evolve over time. Leaders emerge, with an opportunity to put their imprint on the company. This is the process that reenergizes the company as it moves forward. Against this backdrop, I’m very pleased to announce the following.
Glenn Wagner is being promoted to the level of Senior Vice President – COO. Glenn came to ComNet from NYU Medical Center in 1997. Originally hired as an estimator, Glenn’s role at ComNet expanded, with him assuming responsibility for the Northeast Division in 2004. Since that time, the Bethel office has grown from annual revenue of $20 million to over $55 million. More importantly, the office has been profitable every year under Glenn’s direction.
In addition to his current responsibilities, Glenn is being tasked with maximizing our investment in the AV Division, and standardizing our disparate operational practices. The implementation of best practices across ComNet’s operations is long overdue, and will generate significant benefits to the company and our employees. Glenn is an extremely talented manager, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this effort.
As with the other organizational changes being announced, the emphasis is on increased profitability and directing our resources, both financial and personnel, toward the opportunities that most benefit the company.
Please join me in wishing Glenn much success in his new role.
President, ComNet Communications
